ADHD in the Workplace
Supporting neurodivergent employees to thrive
ADHD does not disappear in adulthood — it often becomes more visible in the workplace.
Deadlines, organisation, task-switching, meetings and unspoken expectations can feel overwhelming for ADHD employees. Without understanding and appropriate support, this can lead to burnout, underperformance and low confidence.
Yet ADHD also brings strengths: creativity, big-picture thinking, problem-solving, energy and innovation.
When supported properly, ADHD employees can be some of the most valuable members of a team.
I work with organisations to:
-
Increase understanding of how ADHD presents in adults
-
Support managers in having informed, confident conversations
-
Provide practical workplace strategies and adjustments
-
Improve communication and reduce misunderstanding
-
Help ADHD employees build systems that work for them
This is not about labelling or lowering standards.
It is about creating environments where different brains can perform at their best.
Support can include:
-
1:1 coaching for employees
-
Manager guidance sessions
-
Team workshops on ADHD awareness
-
Practical strategy development
When businesses understand ADHD properly, productivity improves, retention increases and workplace culture strengthens.
If your organisation would like to better support its neurodivergent workforce, I would be happy to explore how we could work together.

“ I started my coaching journey in the beginning of December 2021. At that time, I was not in a good place emotionally. Maryan’s friendly and caring approach immediately put me at ease. Providing a lovely safe space, she helped me set achievable goals along the way and was pivotal in guiding me to healthier and much happier times. Today I feel like a totally different person!
Thank you so much Maryan, I cannot recommend you highly enough to people."
